Lack of sleep makes you feel tired and angry. Lack of sleep can cause physiological problems (especially heart problems). Studies show that an adult needs eight hours of sleep a night. But everyone is different and the need for sleep can vary from 6-10 hours. If you feel sleepy between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m., you are probably not getting enough sleep.
